'Nuf Said

When I was playing competitive sports, a whole lot of talking didn’t need to be done. Not a lot needed to be said. Very little of today’s trash talking was ever heard. After a hard fought battle, we didn’t pound our chests or pull our jerseys toward the crowds… all that we usually had to do was look at the scoreboard and say/think

‘Nuf said...

And the teams would walk over, shake hands and congratulate the other team and then head to the locker room (to celebrate, if warranted), or head home, or move on to whatever the rest of the day/night held.

As I read this morning’s passage and contemplated its tone, along with its simple directness, this is what came to mind.

‘Nuf said...

That’s it. It says it all right there. Let this passage seep into your very soul. Allow it to guide who you are and who you are becoming in Christ.
