One Word: SHINE

“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” - 1 John 1:5-7 ESV

For today’s GDA... One Word:
SHINE

It’s a word that has special meaning between my girls and me. A sort of reminder that describes who we are supposed to be... and how we are supposed to be it. A reminder to be our best and shine where we are. A reminder of who and whose we are.

Charlie Peacock, in his song “In The Light”(later made famous by DC Talk), says this:
“I want to be in the Light as You are in the Light. I want to shine like the stars in the heavens. O Lord, be my Light and be my Salvation. All I want is to be in the Light.”

A great prayer for you and me...

Shine~ Be in the Light as He is in the Light
Shine~ Like a city on a hill
Shine- Like an uncovered lamp
Shine- Like the Stars in the heavens
Shine- Be the light of the world that we’ve been called to be
