Keeper of the Light

In these days of shifting sands, fearsome winds and rising tides
The structure, the Lighthouse,
stands strong in our hearts and minds.

Through the depths and the darkness, through the wind and the rain,
the beacon, the guiding light,
shines on, burns bright.

We follow you, O Keeper of the Light, whose heart is full of wisdom from days gone by,
eclipsing the unknown,
the darkness, the raging sea.

We bless you Keeper of that poignant Light.
Who stands firm in the thickness of night;
Whose lamp shines on, illuminating the way –
Yesterday, today and days yet to be.

O Keeper of the Light,
set our course true.
Out of the darkness and the depths, lead us home to You
