Reminder

“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.” - Psalm 9:1-2 ESV
With 37 days until Easter, I find myself already going there...
Already going to the triumphant entry... to the bread and the wine...
Already going to Gethsemane... to the crowds, the beatings, the crown of thorns, the blood...
Already going to the cross... to the death... to the empty tomb...
And finding these questions running through my mind:

"Why?"

“Why do you Praise Him?”

“For what is He praiseworthy?”

Then I find myself taking a moment to stop. And breathe. And dwell on the Lamb. And be reminded.

Praise Him for the day
Praise Him for the blood
Praise Him for the cross
Praise Him for the life He gave
Praise Him for the death
Praise Him for forgiveness
Praise Him for His grace
Praise Him for the Resurrection
Praise Him for the victory!
Praise Him in this place
Praise Him

For He is worthy of our praise.
