Old Lazy Dog brings a different view of faith, life, and the struggles we face in the marketplace and our day to day lives…while we strive to go deeper in our faith walk, put our faith to work, and see God at work around us on a daily basis.

Worship in Action

Worship in Action

Today is a day like most any other day. We rise and shine and get ready to go do our job (work, school, etc). Except for one thing. Really one rather important thing.

Today is a day like any other day. Except that today, is not any other day - Today we choose to Praise the Lord.

Today, we try to keep Jesus first and foremost in our thoughts and praise Him and worship Him throughout the day.
Praise Him and worship Him in our routine.
Praise Him and worship Him in our mundane.
Praise Him and worship Him through in and what we do, and how we do it.

Bring Him glory, honor and praise in doing our work.
Not just a job that we may get paid for, but the work that He has called us and prepared us to do.
Right here. Right now. In the place where we are.

Today, let’s not only praise Him and worship Him with our voice, with our minds, with our hearts. But let’s also put those praises and that worship into action in our work, in our actions, in our life... in our love.

Today, let’s do just that... Let’s put our faith to work... and praise Him... and worship the One who is worthy of our praises.

Let everything that has breath praise The Lord.

Keep the Faith... Carpe Diem

“Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.” - Psalm 150 NIV
